The Arts and Crafts Exhibition was a big success. There was an amazing display of paintings, drawings, tapestry, ceramics, jewelry, familiy history, preserves, woodwork and photography - all demonstrating that St George, "has got talent!"

The Tameside Advertiser left off the adddress of St George's in the local advert, so not as many people came through as we hoped. One keen visitor had been to other St George's churches in Tameside before finding us! But there was passing trade and above all it was a great community event. Already there are plans for a repeat in 2010, perhaps in copllaboration with a local art group.
